This is a late 19th Century Chinese Silver pendant necklace. It is a very well known type. A child riding on a Kylin. It is in very good condition. It tested as silver. The details are sharp. The bells still ring. The chain is 28 inches long. It has normal tarnishing for the age. It has not been over cleaned fortunately. It weighs 59 grams which is almost 2 ounces. Pendant 2.75 inches tall 3 inches wide. There are replicas of these available but they are not this well cast. They never have very sharp details like this. You can see all the scales for instance outlined. Real ones are selling for 750 even 1000. I have two slightly different examples in my collection so I'm willing to let this one go.
