This is a vintage [?] 40's lettered sweater in navy.
The color is navy.
Although there is no material notation, I believe it is definitely 100% wool.
The navy has faded overall, with a slightly purplish hue. This is a 40s wool lettered knit with a very long, low-gauge ribbing. The cuffs and hem have distinctive ribbing, and the hem can be worn folded over or unfolded.
It has a boat neck and wide shoulders. I used to wear it off the shoulders.
