This belonged to my late father.
He enjoyed seal engraving for many years, exhibited at numerous exhibitions, and also taught.

The corners of the box are damaged and stained.
The book has scuffs on the cloth cover, damage to the corners, and sun damage to the spine.
Other than that, it is a beautiful item with no folds, scratches, or writing, and has only been looked through.

Because it is a large book, you can clearly see the details of the inkstones' patterns and characters.

This catalog contains 120 inkstones from the Tianjin Municipal Art Museum's collection, primarily in black and white photographs.
The museum's collection of ancient inkstones was formed by the donation of the collections of Xu Shichang, the fourth president of the Republic of China, and his younger brother, Xu Shizhang, by their bereaved families.
It is a masterpiece among collections of ancient inkstones from the Republican era, and many of the fine pieces are of a level rarely seen in Japan.
Although it is difficult to grasp the actual condition due to the black and white photographs, it is still an excellent reference material.
