This vintage original 1957 MGM romantic comedy directed by the renowned film director Vincente Minnelli (“An American in Paris”, “Gigi”, “The Band Wagon”, “Cabin in the Sky” & “Meet Me in St. Louis” which featured then-wife Judy Garland) & starring Lauren Bacall & Gregory Peck. The film won an Oscar for “Best Screenplay”.
This original, vintage & authentic One Sheet (27" X 41") poster is in good-very good condition & is linen-backed with a colorful, sophisticated images of Lauren Bacall & Gregory Peck in stylish midcentury fashions. Before restoration, poster had light edge or fold wear, minor fold separations, very slight paper loss, pinholes & unobtrusive stains. The film poster was professionally restored to carefully clean & address imperfections including paper loss. The colors are vibrant & the artwork & typeface are really wonderful. The poster displays very well.
“Designing Woman” ended up being one of both Bacall & Peck's more successful films both critically & critically.
