A pillow or cushion from Maharam, a long-established luxury textile brand in New York.
Features the "names" pattern designed by Alexander Girard.
A rare, BIG size cushion at 60cm x 60cm. It has a strong presence.
Purchased new.
It was a rather expensive cushion, but it is no longer in production.
"names" has a very pleasant texture among the many wonderful Girard pattern fabrics; it's firm and a bit rough, but not unpleasant at all.
The inner cushion is a genuine Vitra feather cushion.
It has been gently cared for with a Nordic wool and fabric detergent and water below 40°C, but it has a slight reddish tint overall. This is because crimson thread is used throughout the lining of this cover.
